What an awesome opportunity to conduct an experiment! I can see the time, thought processes, and effort put in by both of you. A healthy body is so important and exercise is often one of the first things we drop when our responsibilities become overwhelming! Great reminder of how important it is for us to ensure we are taking care of ourselves. I hope you are as proud of this accomplishment as I am impressed!

Good study! This is definitely an important reminder that staying active is better for your health! Do you think that your results from this smaller sample are true for the rest of the population?

Hello Karley. I never knew that as your age increases, resting heart rate increases. I thought resting heart rate would decrease because the heart is getting older and the circulation of blood would take longer which would result in a lower heart rate. Having a good heart rate is good because it keeps the heart healthy and active. A high resting heart rate means that the heart is taking longer time to circulate blood which could cause or be caused by problems. I think that this experiment needs more elder participants and to see the difference of being active and non active.
