When I first saw her face, I was truly captivated by her eyes. Feeling inspired, I decided to try capturing her gaze in a portrait. I paid special attention to her gaze, as it was the most attractive to me. To emphasize her eyes, I opted for a softer approach to her hair. Using my Wacom tablet and Photoshop, I completed this digital painting. It’s worth mentioning that I completed this project during my spare time outside of class.

Wow, you did this in “spare time” outside of class? This is some of the most beautiful black and white I have ever seen. You totally caught the intensity of her gaze and did a great job of emphasizing it with softer features around her eyes. As a viewer, my eyes went right to hers and locked with them, she is beautiful and you can see that in the background but your attention is very much locked into her eyes.

I cannot believe this was done during your spare time! This was done so nicely. I especially love the sharpness and clarity of the eyes, you did an amaing job of making them the clear focal point. Even if the audience was not aware of the name of your piece, the art would speak clearly for itself. I love how it is so detaled and airbrushed, this is qualiy work!

This is amazing. You did a great job captivating her eyes, as a viewer my eyes went straight to hers. I also love the soft approach with all her other features I think it definitely helps capture the intensity of her glaze. Her hair is so beautiful the highlights and shadows really are astonishing. The hair tucked behind her ears and the angle of the face I think add so much to her glaze and the intensity it brings. Truly beautiful work done.
