A brief slideshow on how I used watercolors, micron pen and Adobe Photoshop to mimic the look and feel of woodblock printing while creating my piece “Jorogumo”. The presentation explains who the Jorogumo character is and why I was drawn to Ukiyo-e artist Hosoda Eishi in particular for inspiration. It also walks through my research and design phases for the character and space, and even explores the future directions of the piece.
