I know this is only a minute long video but thinking about how short 11 minutes is, is jarring. I didn’t know suicide rates were so high. This was a powerful way to show how a person can seem to be having a regular day but internally having a battle to survive. I liked how it ended to show there is someone there to help. Also, that you can not only call but text for help. Great video!

This video is so short but means so much more then suicide prevention. This shows that not everyone knows why someone would wanna end their life but instead be there for them. Just being there for the person could mean saving a life. You do not need to talk or figure out what is wrong but just sitting there and being a shoulder to cry on can mean a lot to someone. Instead of just walking past the person stop and say hello or ask how they are doing can make a difference in someones life.

This video is so powerful and a great way to show that there are other options then suffering with depressive thoughts alone. In this video is shows not just one way to receive help but two ways you can receive help. A simple gesture when walking past someone who might be having a bad day can help that person in a lot of ways that you might not see. Suicide is something a lot of people do no usually talk about but the fact that one happens every 11 minutes is sickening. You could help someone by just being an active listener or recommending them to talk to someone about how they are feeling. I feel like through this 1 minute video it really shows how people need to be there for others and the impact it has.
