The Capital City Film Festival holds a competition for local filmmakers to fully produce a short film (10 minutes or less) in 2 weeks! LCC students Aral Gribble, Shannon Pertner, Daniel Hickox, Julio Caceres, and Elijah Johnson took up the challenge, after it was offered by their mentor, Jeff Hamlin, DMAC Professor. With the help of LCC Theatre Alumni Jackson Schmitz and Catherine Diebold on screen, the plucky crew won Third Place! They’ll be competing again in 2024, with even MORE LCC students, so get ready!
