Hi Alexis,
Transducers are vital tools for sonographers. If no such mechanical devices are around, images of internal organs are not well-defined. Knowing proper usage and its function is part of the operator’s responsibility. The explanation of the transducer is thorough. You did a great job!

Great presentation Lexi! You did a good job covering the basics of our most commonly used transducers as well as mentioning that there are continuous advancements being made in this area of sonography.

Hi Lexi,
There are so many different transducers within out field for specific reasons. Each has their own category in which they should be used and you did a great job at explaining this. As well as what makes up a transducer. it may not seem like just a complicated piece of equitment, but it really is. Great post!
