Hi Gabrielle,
Artifacts are essentially errors in the image, and understanding the difference between them is crucial for the sonographer to tell which anatomy and which is not. There are so many characteristics of artifacts that we need to know. To help us depict them and their roles on the organ we’re imaging. You did a great job of explaining it!

Great presentation on commonly seen artifacts Gabby! I enjoyed the illustrations you used in your presentation as well as the descriptions and information you gave about each artifact. I also appreciated that you mentioned that some artifacts can actually help aid in our diagnosis. Good job!

Hi Gabby,
The detail in your video on the separate types of artifact was very informational. You also did a great job at going into specific artifact types and how they differ from one another. It is interesting though that some artifact is beneficial to our images to help the rads diagnose!

Hi Gabby!
Great job on your presentation! I feel as though including plenty of pictures along with your explanations of each artifact that we may visualize as sonographers, really helps me understand what these artifacts are and how we encounter them. I liked how you discussed what the artifact characteristics are and how it interacts with our machines/transducers. Great job Gabby!
