I made this presentation for a project in my Abnormal Psychology course. The objective was to take a topic that we had learned this semester, and further explain it past the materials that we had already been given. Anxiety has been a big problem area in my life, and I wanted to talk about a specific type of anxiety.

In this presentation, I talk about Agoraphobia, and how it can negatively impact an individual, as well as risk factors. Along with that, I share information regarding exposure therapy techniques to help the individual gradually decrease the avoidant response to conditioned fears, as well as self-help techniques. I have struggled with agoraphobia for six years, and these techniques have helped my personal recovery tremendously.
