Hello, my name is Emma and I love the presentation that you have put together for women’s rights and creating a better future for us women. I feel that it is very important that women’s rights are valued and respected because the women that came before us worked very hard to get us to where we are today as a society and our understanding of what has happened before our time. There are many facts that you stated that I really liked and things that I did not even know but now that I know them I have a better understanding of what exactly happened and who was a part of the movement. Lucy Stone definitely came into this world wanting change and she definitely did that and set us up for what would be an amazing change to the world and what would make our society what it is today. I loved what you had to say and the facts that you stated and I appreciate you for telling the amazing story of an amazing life-changing woman.

We owe all the women in history, who refused to settle for the status quo, so much. Without those women I don’t believe we would be living in the same world we have today. The perseverance she must have had to accomplish what she did should be a model for all of us in the future. We should all be inspired by her to continue what she fought so hard for. This world would be a much different place if more people fought for equality and a peaceful society to their last breath the way she did.

The issue of women’s rights is an issue that still needs to be worked on. Although we have reached great places thanks to the bravery of our previous leaders, there are still obstacles we need to pass. it is very unfortunate that after all these years and the struggle and pain women went through, we still haven’t reached an equal place. Men still get paid higher wages in some industries. But I think we’re on the right path because thanks to the leaders of the women’s rights movement, we have obtained this bravery and courage to act upon what we want, and we will work hard to get what we deserve. Thank you for your presentation. It was a nice bit of history.

Lauren,
Thank you so much for your interest, view and presentation of this topic. As a young woman, I am grateful for the other fierce women, who have been able to bear so much and break down walls for us to follow through. Equality is indeed important and an individual such as Lucy Stone should not be overlooked. Many complain about the equality we lack now, but if only we thought back on how much those before us had to endure, demolish, and renew in order for us to be in some position of comfortability now. While we are still a work in progress, we should not forget those like Lucy Stone who indeed prove to us that improvement is possible and can be attained. I believe your topic was a wonderful one and Ms. Stone was a great choice on this matter.
Thank you so much!
