This topic has always been very interesting to me! I actually just purchased the book so that I can read it this summer while taking a break from all the school work! I think the pictures you added were super interesting and portrayed what radiation can do to the human body over time. Im grateful for the medical advances and knowledge gained to protect us from the harmful rays of radiation while pursuing this field as a career. Great job!
Wow, it is truly sad what these women suffered through for such low pay. I wonder if the jaw/teeth pain was the first symptom because they were dipping the paint brush in between their lips. Do you know if there has since been a developed treatment for radium poisoning? I thought your presentation was very interesting and the x-ray images that you added to it helped viewers to see the severity of the radium poisoning.
